GetArtizan started in Port Harcourt after our founder paid a “plumber” ₦60,000 upfront and never saw him again. We built the thing that should have existed: verified artisans, and money that only moves when the work is done.

Government ID, a live selfie and a manual review by our team. An artisan who has not passed cannot appear in the directory or receive a single booking.
We hold the money
You pay GetArtizan, not the artisan. The funds sit in escrow where both sides can see them, and only move when you confirm the work is done.
Everything written down
Quotes, revisions, chat, photos and payments all live on the booking. A dispute is settled with evidence rather than argument.

- We will not let an artisan change an agreed price without your approval.
- We will not list an artisan who has not passed ID verification.
- We will not add our commission on top of your quote. It comes out of the artisan's side.
